The Herdade do Perú Private Collection – White is produced from hand-picked grapes from previously selected plots, fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. This results in a wine with a bright straw-green colour. On the nose, plenty of white flowers and white plum, with notes of vanilla, spice and graphite from the barrel ageing. On the palate, plenty of freshness, with the wood notes present but well balanced by the white fruit and the characteristic acidity of the Arinto grape. A long finish, typical of the region, with great density and acidity.
