Herdade do Perú – Red

The Herdade do Perú – Red Produced from hand-picked grapes in October and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, it yields a wine with a dense red color. Floral and rockrose notes are prominent on the nose, with fresh fruit notes such as blackberries and blueberries in perfect harmony with the barrel notes on the finish. The mouthfeel is intense, with firm tannins that enhance the red fruit notes, providing a lot of freshness to the whole. The terroir where the wine was produced is well-represented with notes of pine and woodland, making it elegant and persistent.
